Special Programs

From Superior Skills to Saving Lives

We offer a variety of special programs on demand. Our special programs provide immersion that can take your existing skills to the proverbial next level, offer much-needed clarity on a specific topic, or help save lives. Special programs are different from all others in that they involve intensive training in only one area, building or sharpening expertise through immersion, and they do so without assuming advanced knowledge or experience in any field.

Master Classes and Focused Skills

Custom training that combines two or more special programs or is designed to fit your specific requirements and/or interest can also be put together at short notice due to the modular nature of our offerings. Most special programs are seminars with durations ranging from 8 hours to 40 hours. The RBSD (reality-based self-defense) master classes can range anywhere between a one-time 4-hour class to a 3-month program meeting once a week. If you’re interested in a special program and need more information, or you wish to put together a custom special program, please contact us with your request. The following is a list of pre-existing special programs:

  • Urban Survival Defensive Tactics for the LEO
    (law enforcement officers only)
  • Control Tactics for High-Risk Occupations
(security officers, bouncers, bodyguards, EMTs, firefighters, ER personnel, process servers, real estate agents et al)
  • RBSD master class: street-safe joint manipulation
  • RBSD master class: street-safe takedowns
  • RBSD master class: ballistic striking
  • RBSD master class: weapons disarmament
  • RBSD master class: surviving a knife attack

"What I really like is how friendly the instructors are. The subject matter and its coverage of real-life situations as they actually happen out there can be intimidating. Despite their obvious depth of knowledge and experience, the instructors are really easy going, which makes the classes comfortable to be in. The environment is informal, no matter how naturally intense it gets at times."
